20 acre placer claim
T.2N. R.71W. Sec.4
In Quarterly of the Colorado School of Mines: Gold Placers of Colorado (Book 1) it says in "March 1, 1874, the Denver Rocky Mountain News stated that William McKnight...had staked claims in Central Gulch, about 1-1/2 miles northeast of Jamestown, and reported values of 25 cents to the pan." The book also states that as far as Boulder County is concerned, a source of placer gold is clearly Central Gulch.
